The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) of Indian Railways is likely to announce the Railway Group D exam results by mid-February, as reported. The exams for Group D for over 60,000 vacancies were conducted by RRB from September to December last year.
The candidates must note that clearing the Physical Endurance Test (PET) will not assure them job in the Railways. The candidates have to go through the medical test and document verification process.
As a precondition to the Railway Group D result announcement, the regional Boards released the answer keys of various sessions of the exam recently. According to the reports, the board is preparing to announce the results of Group-D CBT examination for 62 thousand posts in the middle of February ie i.e. on 15th February.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will release the Railway Group D written exam 2018 result on February 13, according to a report in India.com. RRB conducted the Railway Group D recruitment exam from September 17 to December 17. To note, candidates clearing the exam will be eligible for the PET exam for which the dates will be announced in the last week of February. Candidates qualifying for the PET exam will have to go through a medical test, followed by document verification process. After the medical test, candidates will be eligible for the interview.
RRB Group D Exam: The Railway Recruitment Board is all set to release the results of RRB Group D Examination on February 13 on the official website rrbcdg.gov.in. The interested candidates are requested to check the results. the qualifiers will appear for the Physical Endurance Test (PET). Those who will clear the PET have to undergo a medical test. The medical test will be followed by a document verification process. 1) Class 10 examination certificate or an equivalent certificate. It will be used as a proof for date of birth and matriculation qualification.

1) Male candidates: They will need to carry 35 kg weight to cover 100 metres in two minutes. It is mandatory for the candidates to not to put down the weight until the 100 metres are covered. Additionally, they have to run 1000 metres for four minutes and 15 seconds.
2) Female candidates: The candidates need to carry 20 kg weight to cover 100 metres in two minutes. It is compulsory for the candidates that during the examination, they should not put down the weight until they cover the required distance. In addition, the candidates will have to run 1000 metres. This should be covered in a time span of five minutes and 40 seconds.

The RRB Group D recruitment exam will fill up 62,907 posts in Indian Railways. Candidates who qualify the written examination will have to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The date and venue of PET will be released soon. Candidates can check for more details from the official site of RRBs.
Along with this, RRB has annouced recruitment of 2.3 lakh candidates in the coming two years. In total 1,51,548 recruitments are expected to be completed by August 2019. RRBs would also be notifying about 99,000 jobs later in the year (in May) to compensate for the number of employees who would be retiring this year.
